Esmatullah Stanikzai is an accomplished Finance and Administration Professional with over 12 years of progressive experience supporting national and international organizations across Afghanistan. With a strong background in financial management, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and organizational leadership, he has contributed to major programs funded by UNDP, JICA, USAID, World Bank, CIDA, DFID, and other global partners.

Esmatullah has built his reputation through his ability to lead high-performing teams, strengthen financial systems, and ensure full compliance with donor regulations and organizational policies. His work ranges from developing annual budgets, managing multi-million-dollar donor projects, supervising finance and admin teams, to implementing effective procurement and payroll systems.

He has worked in key roles such as Senior Finance Officer, Admin/Finance Controller, Project Finance Officer, HR Manager, and Admin/IT Officer, consistently delivering accuracy, transparency, and operational excellence. His experience spans respected organizations including AREDO, KIHE, Engineering Partnership & Research Services Organization, and several USAID-funded projects.

Esmatullah is currently pursuing the Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA) designation at AIBF, having completed multiple papers including BT, MA, FA, PM, and FR, and is continuing his studies in Audit & Assurance (AA).

He brings strong skills in QuickBooks, MIS, budgeting, financial analysis, project management, compliance, HR management, and organizational development, combined with a commitment to ethical leadership and continuous improvement.

Fluent in Pashto, Dari, English, and Urdu, Esmatullah is dedicated to contributing to the advancement of education, good governance, and professional excellence wherever he serves.
